New Life Island is located in the Delaware River about one mile south of the Frenchtown NJ bridge. Access to the Island is from Pennsylvania route 32 by ford crossing or footbridge. The Island covers about 37 acres, with facilities for approximately 100 campers.

Our campers stay in cabins. The girls cabins have a restroom in the cabin while the boys use a central bathhouse. Our camper to counselor ratio has a maximum of 9 to 1. Every cabin also has a support staff member who acts as a junior counselor. This provides two staff members who stay in the cabin with the campers each night. Most of our camp sessions are five days long and start on Monday morning and end on Saturday morning. Our Junior Mini-Week begins on Thursday morning and ends Saturday morning. Our activities include: volleyball, basketball, campfires, swimming (in our pool), cookouts, canoeing, paintball, archery, river-tubing and all kinds of games. There’s never a dull moment at New Life Island!

Our counselors are college age or older. They are chosen because of their Christian testimony, and their desire to serve the Lord and help young people. All of our staff must pass a background check. We have a special speaker for each week of camp. Our speakers are chosen because of their ability to effectively communicate the truths of the Word of God with our campers. We want our campers to learn lessons that they can take home with them and put into practice. Because our primary ministry is Christian Education all campers are required to attend all chapel services.

Overall the Island is a great place for anyone to come and hear the Word of God, relax, and go away edified, better prepared to live their day to day Christian life. That’s why on the Island we say: No One Leaves the Same...

Our Core Values...

Safety - Safety is our first priority. We make sure that the children who are entrusted to our care are kept safe. Matthew 18:2-5

Hospitality - We treat strangers like family. Everyone who comes to New Life Island is treated as a very important camper and made to feel at home. We endeavor to remove all barriers to the working of the Holy Spirit in the camper's life. 1 Peter 4:7-11

Growth - Camp must be a place of growth: spiritual, social, emotional, mental, and physical. Our program provides opportunities, and our staff are trained to facilitate growth. 2 Peter 3:18, Ephesians 4:11-16

Place - There are things that can be done at camp that can't be done anywhere else. Camp is an immersion in a new culture; it need to be in a special, unique place. Matthew 28:16

Glorifying God - All that we are and ever will be we owe to our Father in heaven. We are not shy in giving Him the praise, whether it be during a mealtime prayer, while singing in chapel, or while giving a testimony at the campfire. Psalm 34:1-3

Biblical Balance - We teach the Word of God and not opinion. Our teaching must be true and uncomplicated. 2Timothy 2:14-16

Fun - The Christian life is exciting and fun, our camp reflects that. Being a Christian in no way keeps a person from having fun and enjoying the life they have been given. Proverbs 15:13&15

Campers come to this special place and learn God's truth. They have fun, grow, and worship God together. While they are here, their parents know they will be received warmly, loved, and kept safe.
