River is up a little bit, this will stop the beavers from trying to build a dam along the causeway. We had a good workday on the 24th. We split a lot of firewood. Thanks to all those who came out and helped.

We also have all the lumber we need to replace the decking on the footbridge. Many thanks to Fred Bailey of B.Y. Lumber in White Plains, MD for his generous donation!

We were just named a "Favorite Place" on Google Maps. This past summer New Life Island was searched 3544 times on Google Maps with 464 requests for driving directions. It is amazing how the internet has changed our lives and ministry.

We have come up with a plan for benches at the new campfire area. We will be assembling these benches throughout the winter. So, if you are looking for a day project, come on out and help us assemble benches. It will be a day well-spent.

Happy New Year! We are busy updating the website and getting ready to mail brochures. The calendar is filling up with churches and Christian schools to visit. If you are interested in having us come present the ministry of New Life Island to your church or group let us know. We're always happy to talk about Christian camping and the impact it has on lives.
